Odisha: Youth Stones Father To Death, Then Kills Self

Nuapada: A youth allegedly killed his father before committing suicide in Gatibeda village under Komna police limits in the district on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Ram Singh Majhi (70) and his elder son Deba Majhi.

According to reports, Ram Singh had a verbal duel with Deba over some issue. Enraged over this, Deba, in a fit of rage stoned him to death. Later, Deba also committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree.

Later, Ram Singh's second son Samsay Majhi along with the villagers went to Komna Police Station and informed cops about the incident .

While an investigation is underway, police said the bodies will be sent for post-mortem today.
