Bhadrak: In an audacious robbery in Bhadrak, barely a few metres from the office of Superintendent of Police (SP), a group of miscreants vandalised an ATM kiosk and looted a shop near early Thursday morning.

While the owner of the concerned shop claimed that a cash of Rs 30,000 has been looted from his shop, there is no confirmation as of now that whether the robbers were successful in their attempt to loot the ATM or not.

According to reports, locals informed the police after spotting the State Bank of India (SBI) ATM damaged and the door of the shop adjacent to the ATM kiosk broken.

Police rushed to the spot and started an investigation. Police informed that the robbery was conducted at around 4.30 am on Thursday and further investigation would be done based on the CCTV footages installed near and inside the ATM.

Till last report came in, the concerned bank officials had also reached the spot to check and confirm if cash was loot from the ATM.
