Man’s body found in Jharsuguda, murder suspected

Jharsuguda: Panic gripped Beherapali village under Badmal police limits after body of man was recovered today. The deceased has been identified as Akshay Sahu, who hails from Buromal in Jharsuguda district.

It is suspected that Sahu has been murdered as his body carries injury marks on head.

The matter came into light some locals spotted the body and informed Sahu's family members. On receiving information, Badamal police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation.

“Preliminary investigation reveals that the body has injury marks and it is suspected that the man has been stoned to death.  However, the exact cause of death will be ascertained after post mortem. Meanwhile, further investigation is on” said a senior police official.
