Man found dead inside temple in Bhubaneswar, family smells foul play

Bhubaneswar: Body of a man was found under mysterious circumstances on premises of the Kapileshwar temple at Kanan Vihar here early this morning.The deceased identified as Dilip Parichha of Agarpada area in Bhadrak district was working as a security guard in a private company in Bhubaneswar.

According to sources, locals spotted the body of Dilip lying inside the temple premises and informed the police. Family members of Dilip also rushed the spot after information and confirmed his identity. Later, Dilip’s body was sent for post-mortem.

Police have also seized a hand-written 'suicide note' from the spot saying, "No one is responsible for my death".

Though the exact reason behind the death of Dilip is yet to be established, it is assumed that Dilip might have committed suicide.

The post-mortem reports will establish the exact cause of the death, police officials said. Decrying foul play behind his death, the family members of Dilip said there was no reason for him to take the extreme step.
