Man awarded life sentence for killing minor boy in Rayagada

Rayagada: The court of Gunupur Additional District Judge today awarded life imprisonment to a man for murdering a minor boy on April 4, 2016.

Besides, the court imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on the accused identified as Padman Bibhar.

Bibhar had allegedly killed the minor boy in Gangarapada and tried to destroy the evidence. However, based on a complaint filed by the minor boy's father at Muniguda police station, cops began an investigation and later arrested Padman.
