Bhubaneswar: While continuing its probe into the leopard skin racket which was recently busted in Deogarh, the Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch today arrested four more persons taking the total number of arrests to seven.

The accused have been identified as Kalicharan Das, Bhagirathi Nayak, Pitambar Khatia alias Pandit and Netranand Kisan alias Netra. All the accused are from Keonjhar and Sundergarh districts.

Earlier, three persons including son of a retired official of Prisons department were arrested from Barkote area of Deogarh district on June 21.

The STF team had recovered a 7-feet long leopard skin from their possession.
The arrested accused were identified as Ramanisen Behera, Jagnyadutta Behera and Sachikanta Nayak.
