Half-burnt body of youth recovered from roadside in Mayurbhanj

Baripada:  In a shocking incident, a half-burnt body of a youth was recovered from the main road near Dandbose village under Town Police limits in Rairangpur area of Mayurbhanj district today.

The identity of the deceased has not been established yet, said sources. It is suspected that the youth was beaten to death and later, to hide the crime, his body was set on fire.  On being informed a team of police and Fire Services personnel reached the spot and recovered the half-burnt body.

Police have seized a blood-stained stone from the spot and initiated an investigation into the incident, added sources.
