Driver's mysterious death sparks tension in Angul

Angul: Tension prevailed in Angul after body of a driver was recovered from an oil tanker cabin under Jarapada police limits in the wee hours on Saturday.

The body of the deceased, identified as Gyanendra Dehury, was found inside the cabin of the oil tanker that was parked in front of a roadside dhaba in Katada area.

Though the exact reason behind Dehury's death is unclear, locals staged demonstration demanding a thorough probe into the incident. As a result of the demonstration, vehicular traffic was disrupted on NH-55 today connecting Sambalpur and Cuttack.
