"My husband has been falsely implicated. He was in the village when the crimes were committed," said Gitanjali.

After receiving the complaint, Nayagarh Assistant Superintendent of Police Dilip Sahani said they will inform the same to Cuttack Police.

Sahani said, "The investigation of the murders started in Cuttack. Family members of the accused are unhappy and claiming that he is innocent. We will soon inform Cuttack police about it."
