Criminal murdered by rivals in Ganjam

Berhampur: A man having criminal antecedents was killed in attack by rival groups with sharp weapons at Ramakrushnapur under Seragada police station here in Ganjam district on Thursday night.

The deceased was identified as Santosh Kumar Reddy. Police said several criminal cases are pending against the deceased at various police stations in the district.

A team of Seragada and Dharakota police reached the spot and launched a man hunt to nab the assailants.

The exact cause of the crime has not yet been ascertained. However police suspected that murder took place over a past enmity
