Caught On Cam: Miscreants Snatch Gold Chain From Woman Near Khordha Model PS

Khordha: In a broad daylight incident, two bike-borne miscreants snatched a gold chain from a woman 200 mts away from the Model Police Station in the district on Tuesday.

According to reports, the incident happened when the victim Namita Tripathy was standing in front of her house at the Post Office lane after returning from the district collector's office.

The entire incident has been captured on a CCTV camera.

Tripathy has reportedly lodged a complaint in connection with the incident and submitted the CCTV footage with the police.

On the other hand, three bike-borne miscreants allegedly attacked and looted an employee of a private financing firm of Rs 43,000 cash on Muktapashi-Karla road near Kamakhyanagar in Dhenkanal district today.

The victim, Mahendra Sagar Barik was reportedly returning from Muktapashi after collecting the cash from a loanee when the miscreants looted the cash and snatched away his mobile phone by threatening him with a gun and a sharp weapon.
