Boy student alleges sexual harassment by College Principal

Dhenkanal: Amid concerns of public over the safety of women and girl child in the State, an incident has come to fore from Dhenkanal district where a boy student of a residential college was allegedly sexually harassed by the head of the institution.

The matter sent shockwaves in the area after the student knocked the doors of police to bail him out of the alleged harassment.

The student has reportedly filed a complaint with the Town Police alleging that he was sexually harassed and physically assaulted by the Principal.

Based on the complaint filed by the boy, police has begun an investigation into the incident, sources said.

However, the accused Principal could not be contacted and is yet to respond on the allegations levelled by the boy student.
