Body of youth with grievous injuries recovered in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: The body of an unidentified youth with multiple injury marks was recovered from a field behind Nayapalli High School here this morning. According to sources, locals spotted the body lying in a pool of blood and informed the police.

The Commissionerate Police accompanied by a scientific team rushed to the spot and started investigation.

Though the youth has not been identified yet, his body bears grievous injuries. It is suspected that some miscreants might have attacked the youth in an attempt to loot him late last night, police sources said, adding, some cash and keys have been recovered from his pocket.

The body has been sent for autopsy. Investigation is on, informed police.
