Bag containing Rs 3.5 lakh cash looted inside bank in Rasulgarh

Bhubaneswar: Miscreants allegedly looted Rs 3.5 lakh from a petrol pump worker inside the Bank of India located near Rasulgarh Chhak on Thursday.

Sources said the petrol pump worker had gone to the bank along with a bag containing Rs 3.5 lakh cash for deposit purpose. Placing the bag on a chair inside the bank, he went to fetch a glass of drinking water. Upon his return, he found the bag missing.

Police has begun preliminary probe while examining the footages of CCTV installed inside the bank after a case was registered at the Mancheswar PS.
