Brajrajnagar: Close on the heels of the Dhenkanal gang rape, another rape incident has surfaced wherein a 47-year-old woman was allegedly gang raped by miscreants at Chichinda village under Brajrajnagar police limits in Jharsuguda district.

Police today rescued her from her home and admitted her to Jharsuguda District Headquarters Hospital (DHH).

The rape survivor works as a daily labourer and stays alone at home, sources said.

“The survivor is undergoing treatment at the District Headquarters Hospital. All the suspects have been detained. Investigation is on into the incident,” said Brajrajnagar SDPO Nrupacharana Dandasena.
