4 miscreants held while planning robbery

Khurda: The Khurda district police today nabbed four robbers from a house in Khurda Housing Board Colony while they were allegedly hatching a plot to execute a robbery.

Acting on a tip-off, the cops arrested Pintu Majhi, Biswaranjan Samantsinghar, Anil Martha and Jaminikanta Sunderray. Besides a gun, two rounds of bullets, three motorcycles and mobile phones were seized from their possession.

As six cases are pending against the four accused in different areas, police will seek their remand for further interrogation, said Dipti Ranjan Ray, Khurda SP.
