Bhubaneswar: Strengthening its healthcare infrastructures to battle novel-Coronavirus outbreak, Odisha government has readied two standalone Covid-19 hospitals with 625 bed capacity in the Twin Cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack in a record time of just one week.

These two exclusive hospitals are now ready to provide dedicated healthcare to Covid-19 patients. While the first hospital with 500 bed capacity has been set up at Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Bhubaneswar, the 2nd facility has been set up at Ashwini hospital in Cuttack with 125 bed capacity. Both the hospitals have been managed and funded by Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC).
