Bhubaneswar: Indian steel major Tata Steel will construct 30 model schools in 30 blocks across the state with an investment of Rs 135 crore in order to provide quality education infrastructure to students in far flung areas.

As per its corporate social responsibility and investment plans the steel manufacturer on Wednesday led the foundation stone of the first such school at Jantaribol of Kamakshyanagar block in Dhenkanal by Prafulla Kumar Mallik, Minister, Steel & Mines, Labour & Employees’ State Insurance.
