“Suzlon received an order from Orient Green Power Company for supplying wind turbines for over 100-MW wind projects,” a company statement said.
Valued at Rs 650 crore, the order involves the supply of 48 Suzlon wind turbine units.
The first project in Gujarat will have a capacity of 50.4 MW and will be commissioned by May, 2012, while the second 50.4 MW project in Karnataka is scheduled for implementation by June, 2012.

OGPL is a subsidiary of the Shriram EPC Group, with a primary focus on wind energy and over 198 MW of wind assets already operational.
