Mumbai: The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex fell by nearly 107 points in opening trade today on continued selling in line with a weakening trend on other Asian bourses.

The 30-share barometer, which shed 17.06 points in yesterday`s session, fell by another 106.95 points, or 0.55 per cent, to 19,477.36 in the first few minutes of trade today, with IT, metals, auto, consumer durables and banking stocks remaining under pressure.
