Washington: India along with Indonesia showed strong growth despite a global economic slowdown in the final quarter of 2011, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

IMF in its provisional report on Wednesday said the GDP growth of G-20, a grouping of leading economies of the world slowed to 0.7 per cent in the October-December quarter, compared with 0.9 per cent in the third quarter. In the US, GDP growth increased to 0.7 per cent in the fourth quarter, compared with 0.5 per cent in Q3.
