Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has published a notification for the recruitment of Personnel in Specialist Officers’ Cadre in the roles of IT Officer, Agricultural Field Officer, Rajbhasha Adhikari, Law Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, Marketing Officer.

Agricultural Field Officer: 346 posts

HR/Personnel Officer: 25 posts

IT Officer: 170 posts

Law Officer: 125 posts

Marketing Officer: 205 posts

Rajbhasha Adhikari: 13 posts

Age Limit for IBPS Specialist Officers' Recruitment

The minimum age for applying for all the mentioned posts is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. Candidates should not have been born earlier than August 2, 1994 and not later than August 1, 2004. 

However, the upper age limit relaxation is varied across categories; candidates can visit the official notification shared below for details.

Educational Qualification

Aspirants should have a degree in relevant discipline from a recognised institute or university. 

Selection Process

The structure of examination is divided in two phases- preliminary and main examination. Candidates qualifying in the preliminary exam will be eligible for the main examination. Adequate number of candidates will be selected for the Main Examination by IBPS depending upon requirements in each category. Both the examinations will be conducted in online mode, read the official release.

Each wrong answer will result in the negative marking of 0.25 marks deduction.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 850 as the application fee. However, candidates belonging to the categories of SC/ST/PwBD are required to pay Rs 175.

The participating banks are Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank, Union Bank of India.
