London: The Hinduja group headed by leading NRI entrepreneur S P Hinduja will donate 250,000 pounds to fund the education of 500 children of widows in India for the next five years. This was announced by Lord Raj Loomba, founder chairman of the Loomba Foundation at the `Educate a Widow`s Child in India` Annual Charity Dinner held here. "We are very much indebted to the Hinduja group for their decision to educate 500 children of widows for the next five years," Loomba, also a NRI industrialist said.

S P Hinduja and G P Hinduja, chairman and president respectively of the Hinduja Group were also present. Sylvia Bongo Ondimba, First Lady of The Republic of Gabon, who was the Guest of Honour, also announced a donation of 50,000 pounds to the Foundation.
