Get ready with your warm clothes as winter chill is likely to make a comeback in the coming days in Odisha. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday predicted that the minimum temperature is very likely to fall by 3 to 4 degree Celsius thereafter at many places over the districts of the state.

However, the IMD informed that there will be no big change in the minimum (night) temperature during the next two days. As per the IMD, Phulbani recorded a minimum temperature of 12.2 degrees on Sunday. The twin cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar recorded minimum temperature of 19.5 and 19.9 degrees, respectively.

Meanwhile, the depression over southwest Bay of Bengal (BoB) moved northwestwards and lay centred over the same region, about 520 km northeast of Jaffna (Sri Lanka), 470 km east-northeast of Karaikal, 550 km southeast of Machilipatnam and 420 km east-southeast of Chennai.

After maintaining the intensity of depression till mid-night, the system would continue to move west-northwestwards towards south Andhra Pradesh-North Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts and weaken gradually into a well-marked low pressure area around November 22.
