Safety Measures And Challenges

A lifeguard explained, “For rip currents, we put up red flags, sound sirens through megaphones, use walkie-talkies for communication, and deploy ropes as safety measures.”

He further added that some tourists who ignore warnings pose a challenge, as attempts to enter the water could result in serious accidents or casualties. Lifeguards are continuously working to prevent such incidents.

Tourists Urged To Follow Guidelines

One tourist highlighted the importance of following official instructions and said, “It is essential to obey all the guidelines issued by the government during natural calamities. People should gather essential items and stay away from the sea.”

The administration continues to monitor the situation closely, emphasising that adherence to safety protocols is crucial to preventing accidents during the probable cyclone.
