A woman identified as Anshika Singh, also known as Antima, was arrested by police after she allegedly shot a man with a country-made pistol following a minor altercation. However, the investigation led police to a larger conspiracy, leaving everyone shocked.

According to the police, a forensic examination of her mobile phone revealed several private and explicit video clips of different individuals that she used to threaten her victims. She used video calls to record people in compromising situations and later blackmailed them for money. Preliminary findings suggest that more than 165 individuals may have been extorted by her, including around 15 police personnel.

DSP, Police Also In Trap

Senior officers confirmed that the allegations also involve a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and several sub-inspectors (darogas), who were allegedly threatened and coerced into paying money.

The accused woman filed multiple cases at different police stations under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including serious charges such as rape and provisions of the POCSO Act. Police claim that after reaching monetary settlements, she later turned hostile in court.

Long Criminal History

During interrogation, police officials claimed that Anshika Singh has a long criminal history, with multiple cases registered against her in the past across different states. One of the earlier cases reportedly involved her fleeing with a rented Thar vehicle from Delhi.

The investigation is ongoing, and officials say strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty. The accused remains in police custody as further inquiries continue.
