The viral clip comes months after the actress filed a police complaint accusing a businessman, identified as Aravind Venkatesh Reddy, of harassment, stalking, defamation and physical assault. In her complaint, she stated that she met the businessman at an event in Sri Lanka in 2022, following which he allegedly became obsessive and threatening.

Accused Claims Relationship Consensual

She accused him of tracking her movements, morphing her photographs, threatening her family and forcing her to continue a relationship against her will.

The actress further alleged that in April 2024, she attempted suicide due to extreme mental stress and fear arising from his threats. She also claimed that she was assaulted in the ICU while hospitalised and that the harassment continued even after she approached the State Women’s Commission and Cyber Crime Police.

Meanwhile, the businessman has denied the allegations, claiming the relationship was consensual and alleging that he had spent large sums of money on her. Authorities are yet to confirm the origin of the viral video or its authenticity. Investigations are expected as the circulation of private content without consent is a serious cybercrime.
