Bizarre! Flock of sheep seen moving in a circle for 12 days in CCTV viral video

Animals sometimes do weird things which amaze as well as puzzle people. In one such incident, a flock of sheep has been seen walking around in circles for 12 days.

The bizarre incident reported from the Inner Mongolia region in China has been captured on CCTV camera. The unusual behaviour of the animals in the viral video has created a flutter among people.

Despite the sheep appearing to be healthy, no concrete reason has been ascertained for such an unusual act. “The great sheep mystery! Hundreds of sheep walk in a circle for over 10 days in N China's Inner Mongolia. The sheep are healthy and the reason for the weird behavior is still a mystery,” tweeted People’s Daily China.

It is said that the large flock of sheep continuously march in clockwise manner forming a perfect circle on a farm. The sheep have been moving in this fashion since November 4.

Several media houses speculate that the sheep’s behaviour could be caused by a bacterial disease called Listeriosis – also known as “circling disease”.
