Internet Reacts with Outrage and Concern

The video sparked widespread outrage online. Singer Chinmayi Sripada strongly condemned the crowd’s behaviour, calling it harassment and criticising the mob mentality. In a post on X, she described the group as men behaving “worse than hyenas,” highlighting how unsafe public spaces can become for women.

Several users echoed similar sentiments. While some demanded basic respect and personal space for celebrities, others blamed poor planning by the film’s organisers, pointing out inadequate security and crowd control at the venue.

A Broader Conversation on Accountability

The incident has reignited debate around responsibility whether such situations stem from fan behaviour, lack of enforcement, or flawed event planning. Many stressed that admiration should never cross into intimidation.

Nidhhi Agerwal, who began her career with Munna Michael and later starred in films like iSmart Shankar, Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Eeswaran, is next set to appear in The Raja Saab, a horror-comedy. As the industry grows, this incident serves as a stark reminder that celebration must never come at the cost of safety and dignity.
