The Low Pressure Area over central parts of Andaman Sea is likely to move west-northwestwards and become well-marked over north Andaman Sea and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal by 15th November.
As per information of the Bhubaneswar Centre of India Meteorological Department, the low pressure area is likely to move in the same direction across east-central and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal, and concentrate into a depression over west-central Bay of Bengal by 17th November.
Under its influence, a yellow warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for the districts of Gajapati and Ganjam on November 17. A similar warning has been sounded for districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Ganjam on November 18.
Light to moderate rainfall is very likely to occur in rest of the districts in Odisha.
