As per the latest forecast by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Southwest Monsoon is likely to withdraw from entire country around 26th October, 2021. This is due to the likely setting in of North Easterly winds in the lower tropospheric levels over Bay of Bengal and extreme South Peninsular India.
Meanwhile, the low pressure area over Bihar and neighbourhood has currently become less marked. However, the associated cyclonic circulation over Bihar and neighbourhood is still persisting. For the next 24 hours, the Bhubaneswar MeT Centre has predicted light to moderate rain or thundershowers at a few places over the districts of Coastal Odisha and at a few places over interior Odisha districts.
Between Oct 20 and Oct 21, Bhubaneswar is likely to witness a generally overcast sky with light rain. The capital city will likely experience maximum 32 degrees Celsius and minimum 24 degrees Celsius, in the next 24 hours.
