The Bhubaneswar Centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast thunderstorm with lightning over 19 districts of Odisha in the next 24 hours.
As per the MeT office forecast, till October 5th morning, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Odisha.
However, the weather centre also issued a 'Yellow Warning' for thunderstorm with lightning for 19 districts of the state during the same period. These districts include - Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, Malkangiri, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Angul and Dhenkanal.
Meanwhile, capital city Bhubaneswar is likely to witness partly cloudy sky with possibility of moderate rain or thunderstorm during the same period. The city will likely experience maximum 35 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius.
