Low Pressure Alert: System Likely To Intensify Into Depression As Heavy Rains Predicted

A Low Pressure Area has formed over northeast and adjoining areas of eastcentral Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh-Myanmar coasts. Regional centre of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) today informed that the system is likely to move west-northwestwards and become more marked during the next 12 hours.
