The IMD has predicted a drop in minimum temperature in different parts of Odisha. As per the lastest forecast, the minimum temperature is likely to register a graduall fall by 3 to 4 degrees in next two to three days.

India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday said that it is very likely to continue to move southwestwards across south Sri Lanka and emerge into Comorin and adjoining Gulf of Mannar off west coast of Sri Lanka by early morning on February 3.
As per IMD, the system is very likely to move west-northwestwards till the evening of January 31 and then recurve south southwestwards and cross the Sri Lanka coast in the forenoon of February 1, 2023.
The IMD further informed that the system would continue to move west-north westwards, intensify further into a Depression around January 31
