A very intense tropical cyclone named Freddy has become the longest-lived tropical cyclone, lasting more than a month. The deadly cyclone has been spinning over the Indian Ocean for a record 32 days. The storm has shattered the previous record of longest tropical cyclone held by Hurricane/Typhoon John, which lasted 31 days in 1994.
