Ace shuttler and Paralympics Gold Medallist, Pramod Bhagat returned to his home in Attabira under Bargarh district on Tuesday morning (Sept 21). Pramod received a roaring welcome back home for this astounding feat at the games.
Hundreds of supporters and locals gathered on National Highway 53 at Golabhaga to greet and honour the sportsperson. After Bhagat reached Golabhaga, he was taken in a procession all the way to Attabira. People from all walks of life gathered and greeted Bhagat with flowers and garlands.
Elaborate arrangements were made to welcome and felicitate the ace shuttler. Amidst reverberating sounds of drums and fireworks, Bhagat was taken to his home town where he first visited the temple of Goddess Samaleshwari to seek her blessings.
Upon reaching his home, Bhagat was given a grand welcome by his younger sister and neighbours.
