Neeraj Chopra Scripts History, First Indian To Win Gold In World Athletics Championships

Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra on Sunday scripted history becoming the first Indian to win a gold medal in World Athletics Championships.Neeraj made a big throw of 88.17m in his second attempt at the men's javelin final event.3 Indians finished in top eight with Kishore Jena from Odisha finishing with 84.77m and DP Manu 84.14m taking 5th and 6th spots respectively.
