Odisha assembly proceedings went without any discussion for 6th straight day. On Tuesday, both BJP and Congress MLAs rushed to the Well of the House raising slogans and holding placards. Some legislators started beating gongs to wake up CM Naveen who is in deep slumber and allegedly has turned deaf ears to the events unfolding in state. BJD legislators reportedly sprinkled ‘Gangajal’ in House praying for good sense to prevail among Opposition. Ruling party legislators also raised slogans protesting price hike of essential commodities. As a result, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro adjourned the proceedings of the house till 4pm.
