Rare Celestial Event Captured In Odisha Skies After Huge Gap Of 80000 Years

In an exhilarating experience, Odisha witnessed a rare celestial event in the wee hours of Tuesday. 
For a brief period, comet C/2023 A3 was seen in the sky in some places of the country including Odisha. 
This rare phenomenon occurred after a gap of 80,000 years. 
The comet could be viewed with common telescopes and binoculars. 
On October 12, its distance from the Earth will be the nearest with only 7 crore kilometers away. 
On October 15 evening, the comet can be seen about 16 degrees above the western horizon.
