Puri Jagannath Temple Welcomes Devotees Through One More Gate, Paschima Dwara Reopens For Townsfolk

Bowing to the increasing demands from all quarters, the district administration of Puri on Monday reopened the western gate or Paschima Dwara of Lord Jagannath Temple in the pilgrim town. Local residents of Puri are being allowed to enter the 12th century shrine complex through special barricade installed at the gate by producing their identity cards.
