Odisha CM Mohan Majhi congratulates Pushkara team on winning National Film Award

Odia film Pushkara, produced by Tarang Cine Productions, has brought glory to the state by winning the Best Odia Film Award at the 71st National Film Awards. The recognition has been widely celebrated across Odisha, with Chief Minister Mohan Majhi leading the chorus of congratulations.

Directed by Subhransu Das, the movie shows a stellar performance by Ollywood actor Sabyasachi Mishra. The film has already garnered critical praise in several film festivals before receiving the highest honour on the national stage.

On Tuesday, OTV Network’s Business Head, Litisha Mangat Panda & ‘Pushkara’ Director Subhransu Das received the award from President Droupadi Murmu.

Chief Minister’s Message

Extending his wishes, Chief Minister Majhi congratulated the entire team of Pushkara, including the filmmakers, cast, and crew. He expressed that such cinematic achievements not only bring pride to the Odia film industry but also inspire future filmmakers to produce quality works. 

"At the 71st National Film Awards, Pushkara has been honoured with the Best Odia Film Award. On this occasion, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the film Pushkara and everyone associated with it. I sincerely hope that the Odia film industry continues to progress further with such outstanding films," Odisha CM Mohan Majhi wrote on X.
