Post the incident, the airline's Chief Executive Officer Ronojoy Dutta had said in a statement that after having reviewed the matter, IndiGo is of the view that it made the best possible decision under difficult circumstances.
The four terrorist associates, who include a woman, have been identified as Riyaz Ahmad Mir alias Metha Shehri, resident of Plan Bandipora, Gh Mohammad Waza alias Gul Bab, resident of Tawheedabad Bagh, Maqsood Ahmad Malik, resident of Chittibandy Aragam, and Sheema Shafi Waza, resident of Tawheedabad Bagh.
