This year's extreme heat wave condition across the country is not only affecting humans, but also birds.
Amid soaring temperatures this year, millions of voiceless animals including birds are at risk as the heat wave is having a direct and negative impact on them. This year's heat is so intense that not only the wild birds, but also the pet birds, are suffering from heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
Believe it or not, on a daily basis, as many as 15-20 different species of birds are getting admitted at this Bird Hospital in Gurgaon due to heat stroke. These birds are being treated in hospital as they suffering from chicken pox, loose motion, shortness of breath, due to excessive heat.
According to the doctors, nesting baby birds are jumping out of their nests due to excessive heat, thereby suffering paralysis.
