Enforcement Directorate registered a case against BBC India for alleged foreign exchange violation. The UK-headquartered broadcaster came under I-T Dept probe in Feb earlier this year. BBC offices in India were searched as part of an investigation by the income tax authorities. The move comes shortly after BBC embroiled in controversy over documentary on Gujarat riot. The series named India: The Modi Question, was critical of then Gujarat CM Narendra Modi's role.
