Coastal security exercise ‘Sagar Kavach’ Kicks Off

A 2-day coastal security exercise ‘Sagar Kavach’ commenced off Odisha coast (from Gopalpur to Chandipur) on Tuesday (November 30). As many as 18 depts of Centre & State govt take part in the exercise to assess the effectiveness of coastal security organization. The exercise is held each year across the country to beef up maritime security to avoid any infiltration through marine routes.
