Assam Flood: 1.70 Lakh People Affected In Barpeta, Floodwater Damages Crops

Flood situation is still grim in Assam's Barpeta district where nearly 1.70 lakh people are said to have been affected. The flood waters have submerged 5,936.63 hectares of cropland in low lying areas. 382.75 hectares of cropland in Barpeta district are still under water.
