Responding to charges of taking bribe, extortion and forgery of documents against Chief of Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Sameer Wankhede; his wife, Kranti Redkar has alleged that the documents posted by Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Spokesperson, Nawab Mallik on his social media are fake and alleged foul play.
Kranti emphasized that there are a set of people who do not want Sameer Wankhede to do his job as the Chief of NCB and thus are threatening her and her sister-in-law Yasmeen of fatal consequences. Kranti also stated that she has faith in the government and that she believes that the law and order will ultimately reveal the truth.
