Close to 51,000 students of various schools and colleges gathered at Maharana Pratap Inter-College in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh as part of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations on completion of 75 years of Independence. The atmosphere was filled with patriotism when all students together sang Vande Mataram and took out Tiranga Yatra to pay tribute to the brave freedom fighters.
No casualty has been reported so far and children admitted in the hospital are out of danger.
The Prime Minister emphasised that today India's startup ecosystem is not limited to just big cities; entrepreneurs are emerging from smaller cities and towns as well which shows that in India, the one who has an innovative idea, can create wealth.
The Minister said the Railways needed to move forward with a clear vision, absorb technology with an open mind, work with a cordial atmosphere and break hierarchies.
The External Affairs Minister said that hydropower too offers great scope for cooperation, and this is relevant even more in an era of climate action. There is an established tradition in this regard between Bhutan and India and a rapidly emerging one now between Nepal and India.
