Youth Jumps Into River In Odisha, Dies

In a tragic incident, a youth reportedly died after jumping off the bridge over Kathajodi River on Wednesday (Oct 20) morning. The victim jumped off the bridge between Press Square and Gopalpur in Cuttack. The youth has been identified as Sapan Kumar Behera, from Kharvela Nagar area in Bhubaneswar. Sources said that Behera used to work as a courier delivery boy in the city.

As per reports, the ODRAF team launched a search and rescue operation and Behera's body was recovered after an extensive operation which lasted for several hours. Meanwhile, the exact reason for his action is yet to be ascertained.
