Water Enters Jagannath Temple, Idols Relocated

These visuals are from Komna block in Nuapada district. Water from Lower Indra Irrigation Project entered Konabira village after incessant rain in upper catchment areas. After the dam water seeped into Jagannath temple of the village, priests took the idols to a safer place 2km away. The idols of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, Devi Subhadra and Sudarshan are being shifted by the priests.
